When I have heard or used the words unconditional love I associated the meaning with the love of a parent for a child or the love of two people for each other who have been in a very happy, respectful, caring relationship for a long time.
There is another meaning of the words unconditional love which is this month’s topic of The Prosperity Now Program that is a weekly complementary series for anyone wanting to move to a state of being happy, healthy and prosperous all the time.
A brief introduction to power of unconditional love is gained from two paragraphs explored in the first Prosperity Now Session focused on Unconditional Love. These are from Wayne Dyer’s book Manifest Your Destiny and are repeated here:
” You do not need to fool yourself with unconditional love. If you do not love the personality of another, be open and honest about it, but you can still love the essence, the truth of everyone on this planet and beyond. See the unfolding in everyone, even if their behavior conflicts with what you know to be divine and holy. Know that their egos have gotten a stranglehold on them and twisted their divine essence right out of their behavior, but still send love to the essence behind that action.
The more you are able to see past the personality and the individual behavior, the more you will be a beacon of light for the whole planet. It is through a change in consciousness that our whole world is going to be transformed, and that new consciousness is one in which love is going to triumph over the passions of the ego. Send love out past the appearances with which you are in disagreement and it may shift right before your eyes.”
