What is going on in your mind? Are you thinking thoughts of
peace, prosperity, and happiness? Or, are you thinking thoughts
of doom and gloom?

A person can tell what goes on in the mind of someone else by the
very way they walk, the way they talk, the way they carry
themselves, and their manner of dress. Everything about them
reflects their way of thinking.

A slovenly carriage is an indication of slovenly thinking,
whereas an alert, upright carriage is the outward sign of inward
strength and confidence. What a person exhibits outwardly, they
are inwardly because a person is the product of their own
thoughts. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” (Proverbs
23:7)

This “thinking” referred to in Proverbs 23:7 is not a conscious
thinking as most people believe. That would be the “thinking” in
the mind. It is the thinking that takes place in the heart. Your
heart is the center of your being. It is the subconscious mind.

Where is your faith? Is it aimed at garbage? You might say, “Well
I don’t want garbage in my life!” You right! Consciously, you
don’t. But, behind your conscience mind is your subconscious mind
that functions according to your true beliefs.

Your true beliefs are a sum total of all of your accumulated
experiences over the course of your life. They create your
expectations for future experiences, and your expectations are
equivalent to your faith. Jesus said in Matthew 9:29, “According
to your faith, let it be done unto you.”

Do you want more of what you already have? Most people would say,
definitely not! If this is the case with you I would say you need
to change your expectations (your beliefs, or your faith). If you
want to manifest peace, prosperity, and happiness in your life,
you must think peace, prosperity, and happiness in your heart.

You may say, “How can I think peace, prosperity, and happiness in
my heart if I’ve never experienced it in my life?” By using
repetitious affirmations. Have you ever heard it said that if you
tell yourself something long enough you’ll begin to believe it?

Tell yourself everyday that

~ It is God’s will that I prosper and be in health, even as my
soul prospers (3 John 2).

~ He commands His blessing upon me and all that I set my hand
unto (Deut 28:8).

~ My soul delights itself in abundance (Isaiah 55:2).

~ He makes all grace abound toward me (2 Cor 9:8).

~ Whatsoever I do shall prosper (Psalm 1:2-3).

~ He opens His good treasure unto me and blesses all the work of
my hands. (Deut 28:12).

~ I delight myself in the Lord and He gives me the desires of my
heart (Psalm 37:4).

~ I spend my days in prosperity (Job 36:11).

As you get these scriptures burned into your heart
(subconscious), they will manifest into your life!

Most of us would say that we want more wealth…more abundance…more prosperity. But who among us has not been bogged down with the chores and hassles of everyday living to the point where we have no time or energy to pursue the prosperity we really want?

The problem here is, we can wake up after 20 or 30 years and wish with all our might we had done things differently, if only we had lifted our heads up long enough out of the daily grind to see it. This is the type of regret that can never be undone.

Sometimes all it takes to change this pattern and avoid this future disappointment is a little reminder; a reminder that what we want is possible, if only we would start working towards it. Sometimes all we need is a little inspiration.

Knowing that others have blazed the path of success and abundance can make it easier to take those first few steps. The people who can be role models are not superheroes. We all have 24 hours in a day and no more. Do you use yours wisely?

If we can observe the lives of others who have managed to achieve what we wish for ourselves, we can learn valuable lessons. The most important of these is that what we want is POSSIBLE.

We are not alone, and there are others out there who are working through the same issues as you are, no matter what they are. Sometimes hearing about someone who has overcome far greater odds than we are facing can be all the inspiration we need to get off our behinds and begin to create change.

Achievement isn’t just for the lucky few; there’s no such thing. Luck is created…as the infamous saying goes, luck is when preparedness meets opportunity. Your job is to work on the preparedness.

Yesterday, in the ACCPOW Telesummit, I was asked: How do I best support an entrepreneur to move forward who is hesitant to market herself? Without thinking, I answered that my personal style would be to work with that individual on building prosperity consciousness first, then move from there.

In retrospect, I have to smile at my easy answer. Just a few years ago, I would not have said that or known how much prosperity thinking can influence success in business and life. Being a coach has helped me turn toward the flow of prosperity and has enriched my life in ways I never imagined. I believe it also enhances the lives of others around me, clients included.

Of course, I would not go to that place with a client if they were not interesed. They have to want it. Prosperity building is generally not an agenda clients bring but a potential coachable moment to weave into many agendas over time. I often start with a principle that you might not think is related to abundance %26#8212; valuing ourselves.

Intrinsically Valuable

I’ve found that the number one success factor for most anyone seems to be related to how they value themselves %26#8212; just for who they are. It’s not about having to prove anything or achieve something, but rather about recognizing innate value. We are all intrinsically valuable beings. And that value does not diminish as we suffer wounds or age but rather it grows as we learn to express our true essence.

Translating that into business, if an entrepreneur runs their business demonstrating that they value themselves, their time and their services, amazing things happen. Ideal clients arrive, business thrives, and other areas of life get a boost too. Valuing ourselves is a strong turn into the flow of prosperity.

Imagine This . . .

Imagine a life that looks and feels like this:

- You choose where to put your attention and energy each day. You move deliberately without hurry.

- You put your awarenes on being at the cause (creation) of your life rather than at the effect.

- You feel that you receive vast riches just by being alive and awake to them.

- You’re still challenged by some things but it doesn’t grip you like it used to. You’ve learned how to get your ego out of the way enough to surrender and flow.

- Sometimes, you have sad or fearful feelings, but you know they will pass. And you know that these feelings are allies to move you into the great unknown. Feelings don’t define your value or the path of your life.

- When you receive your paycheck, you bless it. You earned it after all, so it’s sacred.

- You are full of tenderness and wonder for all people, nature, and even the state of the world, because you sense a deeper current of strength and love.

- You’ve stopped just dreaming of a better life, now recognizing the wealth of what you already have and knowing you can create what you want, one step at a time, while letting go of attachment to outcome.

Just writing this I feel at peace. This is the life I’m going for and will support clients to if they want it. This is true prosperity.
